Our History: A Timeline of God's Faithfulness

The story of our station is a testimony of God's faithfulness and unwavering support. Through trial and tribulation, God has remained steadfast
and true. Where there once were visons of radio reaching the closest neighbor, now there are means of streaming live radio around the world!

It is with excitement that we share with you a bit of our humble beginnings:

June 1992

The Station faced financial closure and could have been sold to a Rock and Roll station. However, local Pastors and the Christian community successfully raised $53,000 in 5 days to raise support of Gospel radio. Call letters would change from WTOO to WKJV, in honor of the King James Version of the Bible.
